The DuPage Narcan Program (DNP) and Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District are offering a free overdose prevention training on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, to learn about the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, how to use the lifesaving antidote Narcan, and more. The training will begin at 5:45 p.m. at Benedictine University, Room 317 Goodwin Hall, 5700 College Rd. Lisle. Registration is required.

Those who complete the training will have the option to receive a free dose of Narcan, and learn about the community resources available, including information about using the DuPage County Rx Box program to dispose of medication, the Illinois Helpline for Opioids and Other Substances, and support groups.
