Dental Sealant Program

The Dental Sealant Program provides exams for children in DuPage County schools, along with additional preventive services being offered to at-risk children. Dental sealants are a cost-effective treatment for children that will prevent tooth decay later in life. This program targets children who are uninsured and come from low-income families.

Every year, approximately 8,000 children receive 28,000 dental services in schools. Referral and follow-up care for children who need additional treatment, is also provided.
