2. The DuPage County Health Department maintains a small stockpile of personal protective equipment (PPE) to assist healthcare facilities experiencing supply chain disruptions or a public health emergency. Due to unforeseeable circumstances, distribution may not always be guaranteed. 

   During times of limited supply, each facility must ensure they meet the following criteria before submitting a request through this portal: 

   • The facility has attempted to procure PPE through their routine procurement procedures
   • That procured shipment of PPE is delayed/cancelled due to a supply chain disruption
   • The facility has attempted to procure the delayed/cancelled items through another PPE vendor and were again unsuccessful due to a supply chain disruption

    ***Please note, during times of limited supply, the DuPage County Health Department will review and fill requests based on priority need. This will include prioritizing the following:

   • Hospitals
   • Long-term care and assisted living facilities
   • Home health agencies
   • Group homes
   • Facilities experiencing outbreak activity (On a case-by-case basis)
