COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

CDC recommends that everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccination. More information can be found on their website here.

DuPage County Health Department is now accepting registration for  COVID-19 vaccination appointments for anyone 6 months and older. 

DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) currently offers: 

  • Pfizer COVID-19 primary series for individuals ages 6 months and older.
  • Pfizer bivalent third dose for individuals ages 6 months - 4 years.
  • Pfizer bivalent booster dose for eligible individuals ages 5 years and older. 

The FDA has updated the emergency use authorization (EUAs) of the bivalent booster for children under 5. Once the vaccine becomes available, DCHD will offer the Pfizer bivalent booster for individuals 6 months and older. Please watch our website and social media for further updates.

To register for a vaccination appointment please click here.  Once registered, you will be contacted via email with additional information on scheduling an appointment.

COVID-19 vaccinations will be administered at our Central Public Health Center in Wheaton.  

Residents seeking an appointment sooner or closer to their home can contact their healthcare provider, or their child's healthcare provider, or visit www.vaccines.gov to identify a site administering COVID-19 vaccinations. 


 Before You Visit:

  • If you are receiving the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, you will need to return for a second dose 8 weeks later. 
  • Please stay home if you are ill. A health screening will be conducted upon arrival and if you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms you will be sent home. 
  • Please stay home if you are in isolation.


 What Should I Know About My Visit?

  • Handicap parking and wheelchairs are available as needed.
  • Anyone under 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian accompany them.
  • After vaccination, plan to sit in observation for at least 15 minutes and possibly up to 30 minutes based on clinical history.
  • If you are seeking your second dose from DCHD after receiving your first dose elsewhere, you must bring your CDC vaccination record card with you.  
  • If you are seeking a booster shot, please be sure to bring your COVID-19 vaccine card with you.
