DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) offers Pfizer COVID-19 primary series and first and second booster shots.

Residents can contact their healthcare provider, local pharmacy, or visit www.vaccines.gov to find the soonest available appointment nearest to their home. 
- If you are receiving the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, you will need to return for a second dose 8 weeks later.
- Please stay home if you are ill. A health screening will be conducted upon arrival and if you are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms you will be sent home.
- Please stay home if you are in isolation or quarantine.
What Should I Know About My Visit? |
- Handicap parking and wheelchairs are available as needed.
- Anyone under 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian accompany them.
- After vaccination, plan to sit in observation for at least 15 minutes and possibly up to 30 minutes based on clinical history.
- If you are seeking your second dose from DCHD after receiving your first dose elsewhere, you must bring your CDC vaccination record card with you.
- If you are seeking a booster shot, please be sure to bring your COVID-19 vaccine card with you.

The Care Van is a walk-up, free mobile clinic traveling throughout DuPage County to administer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to ages 5+. Pfizer booster shots are available for ages 12+.
