As of today, 238,324, or 25.7 percent, of DuPage County residents have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and 369,858, or 39.8 percent, of residents have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. Additionally, 84.8 percent of DuPage County residents ages 65 years and older have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. In the past week, more than 84,265 vaccine doses were administered into the arms of DuPage County residents for a total of 608,182 doses administered to date.

This week, health officials are reporting a concerning increase in COVID-19 daily cases, positivity rate, and related hospitalizations. As of today, 332,458, or 35.8 percent, of DuPage County residents have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, and 191,459, or 20.6 percent of residents have been fully vaccinated. In the past week, more than 59,000 vaccine doses were administered into the arms of DuPage County residents for a total of 523,917 doses administered to date.
As of today, Apr. 1, 464,334 doses have been administered into the arms of DuPage County residents, which represents the administration of more than 50,000 doses of vaccine in the past week. Additionally, 168,993, or 18.2 percent, of DuPage County residents are now fully vaccinated, and 79.4 percent of residents 65 years and older have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose.
Beginning today, Mar. 24, DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) will expand COVID-19 vaccine appointment opportunities to individuals who are eligible in Phase 1b Plus, including persons + 16 to 64 years old with comorbidities and underlying conditions, as well as individuals with disabilities. In DuPage County, an estimated 174,443 DuPage County residents will become newly eligible in Phase 1b Plus.

As of early this week, the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) COVID-19 Community Vaccination Clinic has administered more than 25,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses since operations began in December 2020. Over 271,684 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to DuPage County residents, and 177,631 residents have received at least one dose of vaccine as of today, March 10. Of those vaccinated, 94,053 people, or 10.13 percent of DuPage County residents, are fully vaccinated. This represents the administration of 59,049 doses of vaccine in the past week to DuPage County residents.
As of today, over 212,635 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to DuPage County residents and 147,031 residents have received at least one dose of vaccine. Of those vaccinated, 65,604 people, or 7.06 percent, have received second doses and are fully vaccinated. This represents the administration of 48,304 doses of vaccine in the past week to DuPage County residents.
Progress in COVID-19 vaccine administration continues with approximately 116,940, or 13 percent, of DuPage County residents being vaccinated with at least one dose and 47,391 residents, or 5.1 percent of the County’s population fully vaccinated with two doses, as of Feb. 24. However, due to the limited vaccine supply of first doses provided by the State, DuPage County Health Department’s (DCHD) Community Vaccination Clinic and other local vaccine providers are scaling back first dose appointments and primarily focusing on administering second doses in the coming weeks.
DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) has learned the number of COVID-19 vaccines allocated to DuPage County in the next three weeks for first doses will be very limited. This week, DCHD expects to receive only 2,450 vaccines for first doses for distribution to vaccine providers in DuPage County which is much lower than the recent average of 14,000 new vaccine doses previously received each week.
