DuPage County Announces COVID-19 Dashboard

DUPAGE COUNTY—Today, the DuPage County Health Department is announcing a new, interactive COVID-19 case map. The dashboard links data from the DuPage County Health Department into the GIS Data Systems from DuPage County to provide a greater level of understanding into how the coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19, pandemic is unfolding across our communities.

DuPage County: Three Additional Cases of COVID-19

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today announced 673 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including seven deaths; a man in his 50s, two men and two women in their 60s, a man in his 70s, and a woman in her 90s.  Approximately 87% of fatalities are among patient 60 years of age and older.

DeKalb County is now also reporting a case. Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 753 cases in 26 counties in Illinois (percentage of case by county below). Cases have occurred in ages 3 to 99.

Pritzker orders all bars, restaurant dining rooms closed

Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Sunday ordered all restaurants and bars in the state closed to customers at the end of business Monday until at least March 30, a sweeping measure aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus.
