DuPage County Health Department Crisis Line
Crisis Services are staffed by highly-trained counselors who respond to DuPage County residents who may be experiencing a psychiatric crisis or are in need of additional support for symptoms of mental illness. Crisis Services staff provides brief intervention, support, guidance and linkage to Behavioral Health Services. The DuPage County Crisis Hotline (630) 627-1700 is available 24/7, 365 days per year.
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To get resources for yourself or a loved one, please call 1-800-273-8255.
Metropolitan Family Services Domestic Violence Hotline
All domestic abuse services, including assistance with orders of protection, continue to operate. Please call the 24/7 hotline at (630) 469-5650 to get help.

Illinois Call4Calm Text Line
If you or a loved one are struggling with stress related to the COVID-19 pandemic and need emotional support, text TALK to 552020 for English or HABLAR for Spanish. This service is free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. People seeking assistance will remain anonymous and will provide only their first name and zip code, which enables the service to link you to a counselor in your area who is knowledgeable about available local resources.

To receive daily updates about COVID-19 from the Illinois Department of Public Health, all Illinoisans with a mobile phone can opt-in. For more information, visit www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/daily-communications.
