Got Medicaid? Get ready to renew!

Illinois is checking to see if you are still eligible for Medicaid. Here's what you need to do now:
Click Manage My Case at abe.illinois.gov to:
- Verify your mailing address under "Contact Us."
- Find your due date (the "redetermination" date) in your "Benefit Details"
Watch your mail and complete your renewal right away. If you need assistance, please contact us at 630-682-7400 to schedule an appointment with one of our benefitting team members.
Beware of scams. Illinois will never ask you for money to renew or apply for Medicaid. Report scams to the fraud report website: Report Fraud | HFS (illinois.gov) or the Medicaid fraud hotline at 1-844-453-7283 /1-844-ILFRAUD.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
Illinois’ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides food and other necessities to low-income families. Eligibility requirements apply.
SNAP emergency allotments ended February 2023. For help finding food in your area, please visit Northern Illinois Food Bank.
Cash Assistance
Cash Assistance can help pay for food, shelter, utilities, and expenses other than medical costs.
Medicare Savings Program
If you have Medicare, you may qualify for assistance from the State in paying your Medicare premiums, deductibles and co-insurance.

Access DuPage
Access DuPage is a program to help DuPage County residents who are low-income and not eligible for other health insurance access primary care medical services.
Marketplace Insurance
Private insurance through the federal government.

To schedule an appointment with a Community Health Worker (CHW), call 630-682-7400, and ask for a benefiting appointment. Appointments are offered at most of our Public Health Centers.
