Better Birth Outcomes
Better Birth Outcomes (BBO) / Great Start is a program that provides high-risk pregnant women health education, and linkage to prenatal and specialty doctors. We can provide referrals for prenatal classes, parenting classes, and other resources in the community. Pregnant women can participate in the BBO program by meeting high-risk eligibility requirements. The goal of the program is to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Dental Services
The Dental Health Program at DuPage County Health Department provides access to dental services and oral health education for low income residents of DuPage County. The goal of the Dental Health Program is to improve the oral health of DuPage County residents, allowing them to be successful in school, employment and other areas of their lives.

Family Case Management
Family Case Management (FCM) is a free program that serves low-income pregnant women and infants up to one year of age living in DuPage County. The program provides guidance and education for a healthy pregnancy and healthy infant through both clinic and home visits.

Great Beginnings Prenatal Clinic
DuPage County Health Department has partnered with Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital to provide prenatal care at the Lombard and Westmont Public Health Centers. The Great Beginnings Clinic will provide expecting Mothers with prenatal care and referrals to specialists for high-risk pregnancies.

Healthy Families
Healthy Families is an accredited and nationally recognized home visiting program designed to support families with young children. The program provides comprehensive home visiting services to families expecting their first baby or with a child under 3 months of age. Healthy Families is free and voluntary.

Immunizations
Immunizations are offered at the Wheaton, Westmont, and Lombard Offices. Both childhood and adult immunizations are available. Childhood immunizations are available for all children who do not have insurance, or who have insurance that does not cover immunizations, through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, community referrals, and vouchers for nutritious supplemental foods at no cost to eligible pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding women, infants, and children living in DuPage County.
