The Post-Crisis Response Team (PCRT) is a program provided in cooperation with the DuPage County Sheriff's Office. This unique approach partners a DuPage County Sheriff's Deputy with one of our Forensic Behavioral Health Counselors, who reach out to residents who have encounters with law enforcement as a result of a mental health crisis. The deputy and counselor provide follow-up to help ensure that appropriate linkages to treatment and resources are made.
How does someone get referred to PCRT?
The Post-Crisis Response Team (PCRT) follows up on mental health calls that come through the DuPage County Sheriff's Office or from a partner law enforcement agency that may request a follow-up.
