Forensic Behavioral Health Services

Our Forensic Behavioral Health programs target the unique needs of those who suffer from mental health and/or substance use issues and are also involved in the criminal justice system. The goal of our programs is to help individuals receive the treatment they need while decreasing additional contact and involvement with the criminal justice system.

Forensic Behavioral Health includes specialized programming that targets behaviors that may lead to further involvement in the criminal justice system. Our clinical staff is highly trained experts who understand the additional difficulties experienced when involved in court.

Our programs also coordinate with our local law enforcement partners, who often are the first to respond to mental health and substance use crises. Our partnerships allow us to coordinate responses and ensure that we are able to help those in need when they need it most.

Our Office and Programs

Our office has moved from the DuPage County Courthouse to the DuPage County Health Department Linda J. Kurzawa Community Center, located on the main county campus across the pond from the courthouse.
