Crisis Residential
Crisis Residential is a 12-bed unit located at 115 N County Farm Road, Wheaton that provides short-term psychiatric stabilization to DuPage County residents. Crisis evaluations to determine eligibility for Crisis Residential are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The unit is voluntary and unlocked, and is utilized both as a step-down from inpatient psychiatric care and as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization. Services provided include Psychiatric evaluation, Integrated Assessment and Treatment Planning, Case Management, and Group and Individual Therapy. Crisis Residential services are available to DuPage County residents, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Individuals interested in exploring this service option can either call Crisis Services at 630-627-1700, or walk in to our office location at 115 N County Farm Road, Door Number 5 in Wheaton, IL.

Mobile Crisis Response
Crisis evaluations can be completed off-site, in the community when requested by individuals in crisis, family members of those experiencing a crisis, law enforcement, community agencies, or schools.

Screening, Assessment and Support Services (SASS)
The Screening, Assessment and Support Services (SASS) program for children and adolescents is a statewide program developed to provide improved coordination in the delivery of mental health services for youth experiencing a mental health crisis whose care will require public funding. The program has a single point of entry, Crisis and Referral Entry Service (CARES) and ensures that youth receive crisis services in the most appropriate setting.
