Food

Outdoor Grilling Season

Bacteria grow faster during warm and humid weather.
Keep
cold food cold.
Perishable foods should be stored in an insulated cooler with
ice or ice
packs.
Keep
everything clean.
Remember to wash your hands prior to preparing food. Do not use the same
dish, utensil or cutting board for raw and
cooked foods.
Cook
food thoroughly.
Use a food thermometer.
When
in doubt, throw it out.
Food left at room temperature for more
than 2 hours is not safe to eat and
should be discarded.
