What is “I’m Alive!”
“I’m Alive!” is a musical celebration of healthy choices and tobacco-free living. The “I’m Alive!” songs address this critically important topic with humor and emotion, and a rainbow of outrageous, traditional, and popular musical styles. Kids find learning and performing these songs a fun, empowering, exciting challenge. Through the songs, kids take ownership of the tobacco-prevention messages – educational lessons that stay with them long after the standing ovations!

Target Audience:
Students in grades K-6 are the stars of the show, and above all, this program is for their benefit and enjoyment. Their creative energy, and their investment in becoming teachers of the prevention themes make each rehearsal and each performance of the “I’m Alive!” songs a potent learning experience for everyone involved.

Involvement:
Planning, rehearsing, and performing an “I’m Alive!” show provides many opportunities for the entire “school family” to become involved, including: K-6 students, teachers, parents, health educators, community volunteers, and also older students, who can participate as mentors, role models, “guest performers”, vocal coaches, and in many other roles. The rich creativity of kids and teachers in every school can find expression in the presentation of each “I’m Alive!” song. Every performance will be a unique, hilarious, entertaining celebration of healthy choices!
