Child and Adolescent Services

The goal of the Child and Adolescent Programs is
to strengthen the functioning of families by assisting a child or adolescent
with severe emotional problems. Staff provide services at the Public Health
Centers, in homes, schools, and in the community. The array of services
includes:
- Diagnostic evaluation
- Consultation to schools and other youth
serving organizations
- Services for the mentally ill/substance abuser
- Medication management by a child psychiatrist
- Counseling
- Linkage to services
- Wraparound planning and service coordination
- In-home respite
- Crisis intervention
- Parent education and support
