Child and Adolescent Services

The goal of the Child and Adolescent Programs is to strengthen the functioning of families by assisting a child or adolescent with severe emotional problems. Staff provide services at the Public Health Centers, in homes, schools, and in the community. The array of services includes:

  • Diagnostic evaluation
  • Consultation to schools and other youth serving organizations
  • Services for the mentally ill/substance abuser
  • Medication management by a child psychiatrist
  • Counseling
  • Linkage to services
  • Wraparound planning and service coordination
  • In-home respite
  • Crisis intervention
  • Parent education and support
