AGING RESOURCES AND SERVICES TRAINING SERIES

A QUARTERLY SERIES FOR
PROFESSIONALS, VOLUNTEERS, SENIORS AND CAREGIVERS IN DUPAGE COUNTY

COST: $5.00 per person (no charge for persons 60+). Register at the door.

BENEFITS:

  • Receive a low-cost and consolidated county-wide training for agencies serving the elderly.
     
  • Learn about social and respite services offered by the Area Agency on Aging, DuPage County Department of Human Services - Senior Services, DuPage Senior Citizens Council and Metropolitan Family Services. Discover how the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers can help you find someone to coordinate elder care services.
     
  • Receive a 30 minute training segment on managing difficult behaviors in clients with dementia and related disorders.
     
  • Receive the DuPage County Human Services Senior Citizens Resource Directory.
     
  • Meet with local providers from the social and respite services community.
     
  • Receive continuing education credits (if applicable).
