Naperville dentist Dr. James Weeks named new member of DuPage County Board of Health

Dr. James P. Weeks, a Naperville dentist, is a new member of the DuPage County Board of Health. He was appointed by DuPage County Board Chairman Robert J. Schillerstrom.

Weeks is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and Loyola Dental School. He practices in Naperville. He was a member of the Naperville Park District from 1989 to 1996 and served as both commissioner and board president.

"It's an honor to join the Board of Health and offer my perspective on how to improve the health of individuals and families throughout DuPage County. I'm looking forward to assisting the Health Department with its important mission," said Weeks.

Linda Kurzawa, President of the Board of Health, added: "We have an outstanding and effective dental program at the Health Department and we look forward to input from Dr. Weeks."

Weeks replaces Dr. Robert Walz. The Board of Health meets at 6:15 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the health department's Central Public Health Center, 111 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton.
