O'Shea is active in numerous organizations, including professional, educational, community and political groups, in addition to serving on DuPage County Board committees. He is currently the County Board Vice Chairman.
"It's an honor to join the Board of Health and offer my ideas on how to improve the health of individuals and families throughout DuPage County. Health is so important to everyone. I'm looking forward to assisting the Health Department with its important mission," said O'Shea.
Linda Kurzawa, President of the Board of Health and a fellow county board member, added: "We are looking forward to the experience and community perspective that Patrick will bring to the Board of Health on how to improve the quality of life for all DuPage County residents."
