Two sets of helpful classes scheduled to begin in March and April

The DuPage County Health Department is sponsoring two three-night sets of parenting classes that will begin in March and April for families with children ages one to four.

The Monday evening classes cover many of the challenges of being parents, including discipline, routines to make life easier, childproofing the home and suggestions for parents to take care of themselves.

The first set of spring classes is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on March 23, March 30 and April 6. The second set is scheduled at the same times on April 27, May 4 and May 11. All classes are at the health department's Central Public Health Center, 111 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton.

Call (630) 682-7400, ext. 7607 to register. The cost is $20 and that includes a workbook. For information on upcoming parenting classes in Spanish, call ext. 7985.
