Health Department to Offer Free Dental Screenings
on Friday, Feb. 3 - 'Give Kids A Smile Day.'
DUPAGE COUNTY-The DuPage County Health Department is joining the American Dental Association (ADA) in the observance of the annual 'Give Kids A Smile Day' on Feb. 3, 2017.
Free dental screenings will be done by DuPage County Health Department dentists and volunteer dentists in two locations. In addition, the children will receive oral health education and a free oral healthcare kit.
The services will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to children ages 1 to 18, and to age 21 for those with special healthcare needs.
No appointment is necessary.
Free dental screenings will be offered at the DuPage Children's Museum, 301 N. Washington St., Naperville.
Free dental screenings will be available at the Dental Clinic in the Central Public Health Center, 111 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, and is open to children with special healthcare needs in partnership with our "Ready, Set, Smile" program.

The Feb. 3 event is part of the national "Give Kids A Smile Day" which began in 2003 by the American Dental Association (ADA) as a way for dentists to join with others in the community to provide dental services to underserved children.
