Cardiovascular Wellness and Tobacco
Cessation Programs
Blood pressure screening, education on heart health, stroke prevention,
nutrition, fitness, prevention of tobacco use and smoking cessation programs
are offered.
Dental Health Program
Dental services, education and referrals are available for all ages.
Programs include oral health education, school-based services, urgent care
and low cost treatment options. Referrals to low cost dental services area
also provided.

The Access and Crisis Center provides short-term, crisis intervention for
mental health emergencies with follow-up and referral to community resources
provided as appropriate. Sliding fee scale, public aid and Medicare are
accepted.
Immunizations
Childhood and adult immunizations are provided. For clinic times, call the
nearest Public Health Center. Fees vary.
Travel Clinic
Travel health information, recommendations or requirements for
immunizations, and immunizations are provided for those travelling outside
of the United States. Fees vary.

Tuberculosis Clinic
The Health Department has a T.B. clinic in Wheaton for tuberculosis testing,
follow-up and treatment. Fees vary.
