Resources for Healthcare Professionals

Healthcare professionals, and providers in particular, play a critical role in preventing and treating obesity. As trusted and respected figures that interact with families on a regular basis, they are a consistent presence in a person's life and a resource for families to turn to for guidance. Healthcare providers not only observe their patients' health but can promote healthy lifestyle habits.
