Orthodontics

Orthodontics or braces is the treatment of dental and facial irregularities. Another term for these problems is malocclusion which means "bad bite". Crooked and crowded teeth are hard to clean and maintain. This condition can contribute to tooth decay and gum disease. Braces can be done on both children and adults. Metal bands, wires, and other corrective appliances are used to straighten the teeth during orthodontic treatment.

Activities
