THE PROBLEMS

Indoor air may contain carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, radon,
formaldehyde, mold, bacteria, smoke, etc.
90% of time is spent indoors.
Children are the most at risk to environmental toxins.
Exposure to radon may cause lung cancer, although only 22% of houses
 are tested.
The number of those with breathing difficulties and asthma is increasing
significantly.

25,023 (3.8%) adults experienced chronic lung disease (not including asthma)

23,638 (10.1%) children had asthma
9,358 (1.4%) adults had been exposed to tobacco smoke while at work
