Information and support offered to families with mental
health and substance abuse problems
An information and support program for families coping with
mental health and substance abuse problems is being offered twice per month
in two DuPage County locations for the remainder of 2007.
These ongoing sessions include important information
about these topics plus the opportunity to develop support systems for
individuals and families.
The program is offered from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the
third Thursday of each month in Room 269 at the DuPage County Health
Department, 111 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton. For information call Kathy

The program is also offered from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
on the third Saturday each month in Suite 102B at Breaking Free, 800 West 5th
Ave., Naperville. For information call Michael Morgan at (630) 897-1004,

The program is provided through the DuPage Mentally Ill
Substance Abuse Consortium, a network of local mental health and substance
abuse treatment agencies who provide treatment and support services to
individuals.
There is no charge for this program. Families will get
information on how to respond to loved ones with mental health and substance
abuse problems, as well as where to go for assistance.
