The DuPage County Health Department’s Health Promotions Team is excited to begin its seventh academic year of providing schools with free health education courses that support healthy lifestyles for students.

These programs are meant to compliment your curriculum during the school year by reinforcing the messages you are already teaching students.  We know that hearing a health message once will raise awareness in students, but it is unlikely to result in any change. However, hearing messages repeatedly from various sources and presented in various ways is more likely to result in students putting the information into practice.

By partnering with schools, we can ensure these important health messages resonate with students, which will help them make healthy decisions throughout their life.  If you would like to schedule a program, or if you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Calvillo or Lupe Corona at (630) 221-7550 or by email at healthpromotions@dupagehealth.org.
