Red Ribbon Week: Preventing Drug and Alcohol Use Among Young People

DUPAGE COUNTY-Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 23-31) will be observed throughout DuPage County with exciting activities that focus on raising awareness of drug prevention among young people and community events that focus on preventing teen alcohol use.

This year's theme is, 'Your Future is the Key, So Stay Drug Free', and the DuPage County Prevention Leadership Team (PLT) will supply Red Ribbons to youth groups who wish to raise awareness about Red Ribbon Week in their school and communities.

The PLT is proud to support the Red Ribbon Campaign, which is the largest and oldest drug prevention program in the nation with the following activities:

· Oct. 23-31: Red Ribbon Week: PLT will conduct a sticker shock campaigns in Naperville on Oct. 26. For more information and activities visit www.redribbon.org.
